Yo! Honestly, reading changed my life in ways that I could never describe. No i didn't always read as much as I do now, but I developed a habit and passion for reading inspirational books that I've almost become addicted to. Its all about reading the right books, trying new subjects and being completely open minded.
First & Foremost ...
BOOK BUYING TIPS:
-One of my fav places to book shop is Book Off. They're located in a bunch of local malls, I personally go to del amo and lakewood although sometimes I branch out.
You can sell books and different technology there, as well as buy at cheaper prices. They have $1 book isles that are sectioned by subject.
My favorite subject sections are religion/spirituality, self help, business, fashion, art, poetry...honestly the list goes on.
-Last Book Store in DTLA is there best as far as aesthetics and I'd say subjects too. It looks super cool in there, and they hold little open mics & more.
My favorite sections to buy books from are upstairs in i think its called the spirituality section too..but basically the section with all of the books about astrology, chakras, conscious, and the mind. I often venture off into other sections especially the art and special art room downstairs but that section is my favorite by far.
-Psychic Eye Book Shop is another favorite of mine, its actually just a dope store I grew up in and they have much more then books. All of their books however are aimed towards spirituality and that realm, its carries things of all religions and beliefs for the most part. I buy books, crystals, incense, and cards from there...practically my whole life from there lol.
-Look for pretty much any spiritual, art, philosophy, fashion, religion, and psychology sections of a book store...thats where the gold is!
